Study Skills sessions

The Haddon Library offers a wide-range of sessions throughout the year aimed at enhancing knowledge of crucial research skills and strategies.

Many of these sessions are integrated into course timetables and seminar series but we are always happy to repeat sessions for small groups upon request.

Examples of topics we offer include:

  • Literature Searching for Dissertations
  • Strategic Academic Reading and Note Making
  • Using Zotero and other Reference Managers
  • How to Write When You Do Not Want to Write
  • Academic Integrity, Referencing and Plagiarism

  • Shut Up and Write sessions

Our sessions are aimed at students on the HSPS Tripos with a specific focus on the Departments of Archaeology and Social Anthropology.
