Our Spaces
Our study spaces
At the Haddon Library, there over 50 spaces for you to work in, spread across two floors: just over 40 in the main Reading Room on our first floor and around 10 in the McBurney Room on our second floor.
Our spaces are listed on SpaceFinder, a handy tool for finding places to work across Cambridge. We also have some handy maps to work out where might be best for you.
Please see our accessibility page for information about step-free access to the building and other aspects of using the Library.
We have a few rules to help give you the best possible experience of using the Library.
Other facilities
We have other useful things in our spaces to help support you in your work.
As part of Cambridge University Libraries, we have a dedicated Electronic Legal Deposit computer located in our main Reading Room for you to browse material via our partnership with the British Library.
Need to copy or scan something? No problem, we've got a multi-function device (MFD) for printing, scanning and photocopying, also located in the main Reading Room
Having a good internet connection is essential and so we've got lots of information on how to connect to our Wi-Fi while you're in the Haddon Library, and who to talk to if something doesn't quite work.
