Library Policies

Managing a library and its collections is a complex process, so to help us offer the best services to our many different communities, we have some policies.

If you want to learn more about the decision-making processes behind how we purchase resources for the Haddon Library, our Acquisition Policy can give you that detail. 

For those wishing to make a donation or bequest to the Haddon Library, or if you are an executor of a will, we have a Donations Policy to help guide you through this process. 

One of the biggest challenges for a library is when it runs out of space, something that happens to the Haddon Library quite often. So we have have a Long-term Storage and Disposals Policy to help us.

As we wish everyone using the Haddon Library to be safe while they are with us, we have a Children and Young People in the Library Policy to explain our rules around younger members of our community.
